Zoe is brilliant! Her albums deserve a thorough listening in their entirety. Quiet room, good pair of head phones, close your eyes, and get swept away.
I completely love her works so vary much, she plays my favorite instrument in ways that completely pulls the listener into a world crafted with lovely sounds, colors and emotions. I could sit and listen to her play all day and never get bored.
Zoe Keating is a master of my favorite instrument. It is all heart chords...so moving on a innate biological level. Goose bumps like I have never had before...and it happens every time I listen to her...
I started a station from Zoe and I also got some house/ other electronic music, as well as all sorts of stuff. I wouldn't say that it was entirely out of place though. Her songs are similar in many ways to the things that I like best in electronic music.
@Georgia Washington: Zoe opened for Imogen here in Dallas back in 2006(or 2007?) can't remember, but this was the first time I ever heard her. Then she came back on stage when Imogen invited her to play some tracks for a song she was performing on stage, it was astounding.
Whoa! I got lost in there for a moment! What a beautifully paralyzing sound

Imogen Heap loves her, and now I know why. What a lush, incredible, gorgeous sound!! Heap and Zoe: what a pairing!!!! (And it's happened before--I can't even begin to imagine...)
I can see a ballet piece moving with this work. I'll start on it right away.

She's really amazing! She actually samples herself with a MacBook and overlays herself, with uh... herself. From Wil Wheaton:
"See that MacBook next to her? She uses that to sample herself several times to build a rhythm, and then she plays over it, like a one-woman string quartet. Or quintet. Or awesometet."
This lady's music is so damned unique and just plain hot, it's impossible to compare her to anyone or anything else... If you like the offbeat, the bizarre, and the truly unique in music... You need to listen to at least a little bit of her stuff... If you don't... I'm sorry for you... You really don't know what you're missing...

Again the artist / album info is lacking, sadly. Of course you can search yourself, but this stuff is crawled, ain't it?

Anyway, it's beautiful and haunting.
