These guys are friends of mine, in Tucson. They were The Year of Acceleration, then some of the members went on to form The Static Session. They did release a cd under the Static Session, called 'Lovelife', which was amazing as well! Now, original TYOA member and lead singer/guitar, Christopher O'Gorman, drummer Josh Harrison and fellow Static Session member guitarist, Rick Baileyhave put together the band, Caught on Film, along with bass player, Ian Christensen. Check 'em out on FB!
First I've heard this band - hopefully not the last!

I know this band! They're from Tucson. They did break up, but most of the members have reformed as a band called The Static Session. As far as I know, they don't have any releases under that name yet... Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the update Nostradumbass. Ok, funniest f'n "borrowed" moniker I've seen here yet! How long before you have to give it back?
Well good it's the funniest moniker you've seen here, because I definitely "borrowed" it from elsewhere on the internet. Forget that website below, it's dead. Their myspace is still up. They seem to be somewhat in limbo, but probably not broken up. http://www.myspace.com/theyearofacceleration

Thanks for the info Nostradumbass. LOL...Nostradumbass: funniest f'n moniker I've seen here yet!
I could have sworn I posted a note for this band before, agreeing that it's impossible to find out anything about them on the web. Well, it's easy, when Pandora gets the name of the band correct (which they didn't). It appears their name is actually "The year of acceleration " , and their CD is definitely available at cdbaby.com They have a whole bio and links to their websites at CDbaby. (Dead The Year of Acceleration link removed)

I have been trying to find their stuff everywhere... iTunes doesn't even have it! Any suggestions where to find more from this GREAT band??
The Year?! Where the heck have you been all my life??! It's extremely difficult to find any additional information about you guys. Ummph. Simply a pleasing cacophony to the ears.
