It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

how is there a mistake in this song? music does not have to be grammatically correct. look at any genre of music. lyrics are meant to fit how the singer sees fit for the song. it doesn't have to rhyme or even have any number of syllables. come one you either like the song for its feel or you don't. or you can like the lyrics or not. grammar is just rules for schools and art has no rules. that is liberty of expression.
It's a bad a** jam. If you are going to check the grammar of songwriters, you'll have a full time job for years. Try to relax and feel this groove instead.
The use of the plural instead of the singular kind of irks me, too. Perhaps they just don't care. Perhaps they didn't want to rip off LL Cool J completely. Either way, the song is still enjoyable.
This is kind of embarassing...the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were apparently formed at Oberlin College, where several of my family members went, and they still don't know that "phenomena" is plural (you can't be "like a phenomena"..)

The dictionary says it's fine, so maybe everyone untwist their panties a little.
