This band had an AMAZING drummer! I wished more modern rock bands had such a jazzy sounding drummer!

These dudes look like the Marx Bros with those mustaches.

Never heard of 'em before, but holy hell, guitarist knows his s**t. F**k yeah.

A friends mom (a barmaid) got a demo from a Columbia records exec back in 69 or 70. We thought it was real cutting edge underground stuff back then. Hate to say it, but it just sounds dated and bar band amateurish now.

I heard them in the Hamptons in the summer of '69. I think it was at the underground club called The Cave. This was the place where Son of Sam was plotting his next hit. They were great.... I never thought that I'd hear this group mentioned again.
Wow!! I remember partying with the Tri-Cycle in 1969-1970. We played in a lot of the same clubs on Long Island (New York) they did. Did some great jamming with Dave (guitarist) and Richie (Bassist). So many years ago..lost track of them.. although I have heard that Dave is still making music up in Maine somewhere. Great band from a great era!!
Less like Grand Funk Railroad and more like a bad imitation of Jefferson Airplane. I'm listening to "Pourscha Poe" and while the guitar work isn't bad the vocals are bizarre even for 1969 standards.

'69 I wasn't even a twinkle until '71 I like 'em OK though
