Warrel Dane got his first professional music start as lead vocalist of the group Sanctuary, performing on both of their albums. When that group fell to pieces in 1994, he formed Nevermore with two other Sanctuary members. ~ Gary Hill, Rovi
Well Aitheism is just another religion when you think about their core doggma is there is no God would not be surprised if some group of them sit in a corner in some where and chant There is no god and also I am agnostic and my comments are not meant to be offensive only humerous
I have every Nevermore album except their first two and album-for-album they are my favorite band (other than This Godless endeavor which I thought was so-so). I love this album as well. My observation would be that they used be antagonistic toward God but have softened their views in more recent albums. I would be interested to know when Anthony spoke to Warrel Dane.
BTW-I agree that he is the best singer I have ever heard followed by Rob Halford 20 years ago.
Warrel Is the Lead Singer of Nevermore, One of my favorite bands, and this album is a wonderful slight change of pace for him, a welcomed addition to my collection along with Jeff Loomis' Solo instrumental album. No they are NOT a Christian band in the slightest. More agnostic/atheistic, but with an artistic appreciation for spirituality and the figurative analogous interpretations of religions, and its affects on mankind.
warrel dane and ronnie james dio... the two voices i have worshipped since childhood... as i approach the age of 40, i find they still have no competition... HAIL, HAIL.
I don't know Warrel Dane personally but for those who are questioning the inclination of this music (wether it's Christian) I would say you don't know Nevermore (His mainstay). However, I see why the confussion. I think Warrel was aiming more towards the Spiritual (no denomination).
Nonetheless, I will probably have to add this to my Nevermore Albums, Amazing.
