The Florida-based alt-rock outfit VersaEmerge makes passionate and driving emo pop/rock centered around vocalist Sierra Kusterbeck. Also featuring guitarist/vocalist Blake Harnage and bassist Devin Ingelido, VersaEmerge grew out of Harnage's high school band and released one EP with a different singer before adding Kusterbeck in 2006. Two years later, the musicians released another EP, Perceptions, and signed with the label Fueled by Ramen. She reminds me of Hayley Williams. Not the voice because they both have unique voices different from each other but they're both good and have generally the same types of songs. Both so good! Anyone else going to the Paramore concert in may?

Sierra Kusterbeck and Blake Harnage are a wonderful duo. They just work so well together. VersaEmerge uses the mythological side of them and incorperates it into the songs. They are all beautifully written. VersaEmerge for life!
she does sound like Hayley but she isnt they are 2 different bands

I think its funny that people think Paramore and VersaEmerge sound the same. The only real similarity is that they have amazing female vocalists. Sierra and Hayley both have completely DIFFERENT strengths and voice patters that match the style of music of the bands they are in. VersaEmerge doesnt sound like Paramore at ALL! If anything, Paramore is conforming more to VersaEmerge's sound. (Listen to 'Monster' by Paramore, then listen to 'Mind Reader' by VersaEmerge...see the resemblences?)
they don't sound anything like Paramore. at Live shows Hayley sounds nothing like she does on her CD's.. her voice is sketchy & jumpy. Hayley is pushing her vocals too hard & forcing her sound & when she sings, her voice sounds like someone is playing with her adam's apple. Where as Sierra sounds exactly the same & her vocals are on note & keep the same pitch. Paramore broke up because Hayley thinks she is too cool. she can take her ugly tiny boobs & go do something else!!!!!!
they both have their own distinct sounds, gosh..... But I do think VersaEmerge is heavier than Paramore, which I like. I also think Sierra is a better singer than Hayley, but for the record i had a 4 month long paramore obsession. I just grew out of them because they kind of lost their original sound. by and by, they are both separate and have their own good qualities.
I personally find Sierra a way better singer than Hayley. but all in all, I don't think VersaEmerge and Paramore should be compared (despite my biased loathing for the latter band).

they are both good under credited bands and it is hard to pick a favorite. i love them both.
