Urban Knights

The smooth jazz all-star collective Urban Knights features pianist Ramsey Lewis as its constant member. Sometime Urban Knights include Grover Washington Jr., Maurice White, the Emotions, Najee, Dave Koz, Fareed Haque, and Earl Klugh. Ok, looking at the collective group of participants in this group, no wonder I like them so much.... the group includes all of my favorites. What a heavenly blend of collective talent. Like a choir of musical souls.
Not heard of this group before, but am now a fan... this particular piece has familiar church undertones - Pentacostal and contemporary urban church music. I like it. Can't wait to hear more. Will definitely add them to my jazz collection and put them in rotation for my new jazz radio show.

I agree with Vada, we got to continue supporting Jazz it the most relaxing music around and here in New York if you don't check the internet you don't hear anything about who's new and what's out there.

Agreeing with Vada, we must support smooth jazz or lose it. I live in Seattle and the only jazz station we had was replaced with a rock station. Most of us only have satellite radio which is great but can't alert us locally to artists coming to town.

Hey Jazz comunity we have to support all the jaz we can. I.E. they canceled the smoth jazz awards in san diego due to lack of support. In adition we are loosing our jazz radio stations. Please please suport or we will loos much more just a thought
