There is something very special about The Unforgettabl e Fire that you can't find on any other U2 album. It is very atmospheric. What a beautiful piece of music.

Reminds me so much of the 80s. I was pretty small then, but I still miss it.
Those that only know the Joshua Tree and other albums after that....are missing out on their early stuff. Gems like this are found on early CD's of theirs!!!

I can't really pick a favorite U2 song either....bu t this is up there in my long long list....I can listen to this entire album over and over....the same goes for U2 in general....m y fiance is probably sick of hearing No Line On The Horizon by now...
No way to pick a favorite from their catalogue, but this song is way near the top: haunting, beautiful, spare, and very much overlooked. Still gives me chills to hear it. A great collaboratio n with Eno & Lanois, and a great yin to the yang of 1982's 'War'.

This is my all time favorite U2 song. It is beautiful. The music in the background is out of this world. U2 is my favorite band. I can listen to this song all day long and never get sick of it.
