It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

The tune was originally composed by Scottish artist Dougie MacLean & is on his 1990 album The Search. The tune was adapted by Trevor Jones for the movie in 1992. But credit where credit is due to DM for this stirringly, beautiful piece.

Incredible soundtrack - my all-time favorite, Perfectly fits every scene with stirring and stunning music - unforgettable!
Taking a dump to Fort Battle seems so much more epic now!

The album gets me everytime!! *:) So MUCH soul/emotions/heart in each song...can't get enough of it! God bless!! Er, may the creator bless you! ^^ /Crow Native
Tracks 1-9 are by Trevor Jones; tracks 10-15 are by Randy Edelman, which the people who edit Pandora would know if they actually looked at the album cover.
It's annoying that Pandora treats these two as one artist when this wasn't even a collaboration. Edelman was hired because they needed so much music that Jones didn't have time to compose it all. They didn't actually work together, and Pandora seems to have ignored all their other material.

It's almost unfair that the artist got such an awe inspiring cinematographic palette to work with, but the score rose to the challenge. Stark foreboding dramatic and haunting. Clearly, one of the best scores in modern film.

Agree with you all. This is one great movie with fantastic music!
Without a doubt, one of the best soundtracks for a movie. It fits so wonderfully with the emotion and scenery of the tale.

The soundtrack along with the scenery of this movie make it one of my absolute favorites. I never get tired of watching it or listening to the music.

I remember watching this movie when it came out. This soundtrack made the movie for me in a way like no other before, the raw emotions and feelings were evident. You felt it in your soul. It is a timeless classic.
My son was impressed and influenced by this piece. You can hear samples of his compositions at http://www.austinbcreek.com -- Personally, Daniel Day Lewis has not done anything since that was as stirring as this movie!
If you liked this then look for this song: The Horse That Made A Haymes Of His Winders. Performed by James Kelly, Paddy O'Brien & Daithi Sproule on the album Traditional Music Of Ireland. It sounds quite similar.
