When it rains it pours and opens doors And floods the floors we thought would always keep us safe and dry And in the midst of sailing ships we sink our lips into the ones we love That have to say goodbye

A song about the trials and problems of life being solved or at least calmed through a relationship with God. Although the writer mentions another person, it could still be interpreted as Christ. The beauty of music is in hearing and feeling the emotion tied to the tune. If it moves you, The Holy Spirit did what it was supposed to; connect you with a thought or feeling further from you and closer to your Maker. Rev. Rob
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Train, but this is the only song of theirs that I've heard in which there are no nonsensical-sounding lyrics! Those lyrics usually do mean something, and I love them, but this song surprised me!
How is "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5 similar to this song?!? WTF! Possibly in the chords used...I LOVE this song. I also love "Sunday Morning", but in a much different way. Yes there's a male vocalist- that's about it. There's NO comparison Pandora!
