I love seeing what I'm seeing on this forum about Tonex. Yes his songs does minister to the soul of those who feels forgotten. There are still some who hasn't forgotten you Tonex... I'm waiting patiently to hear from you! Peace and Love!

I care not about what anyone says Tonex's music ministers to me. I pray that he will consider doing another project for people like me who appreciate TRUTH. I simply want to live each day moving closer and closer to the Lord.

Reading some of this is irritating... Most of you have never met him nor have you had a passing conversation. You know nothing of his life, except what he pours out into his music. Every song he's ever written were the prayers, trials and tribulation of his heart interceding for his soul. He goes by the name of B Slayed (or Slade). All of the comments posted by everyone have valid points. Tonex' is gifted and anointed. The gifts and callings are without repentance. Unfortunately, because of his gifting/anointing, it makes you a VERY easy target of demise by satan. I'm praying that he comes back to Gospel music, too. What a shame...

Thank God we are saved by His grace and forgiveness and not by man. We all would be lost being judged by man.
Tonex is a very humble person. He is not afraid of revealing himself. He is not afraid of what people say or think of him. He is a real nice person and awesome preacher. Our churches fellowshiped quite often and he has always had words of encouragement for me. His mom and dad were also annointed and awesome in God. People we need to get it together and stop judging and start praying. This is a very annointed man of God. A diamond in the ruff that is being polished...touch not.
I have liked Tonex for a while, but, he needs to calm down with his antics. He's very messy, but, that's probably what people like about him. I just know that when God changes people, it can be like taking a cheetah out of the jungle and putting it in a well-controlled environment. A cheetah is still a cheetah - graceful, fast and sometimes ferocious, except that it is restrained in its expressions of its natural animal instincts. I would like to see Tonex at peace in the Lord.
I love that there is no pretense with Tonex. He is a Pastor who can say "Hey I messed up but I still know & love God." and keep on moving. He doesn't hold God's people to a standard higher than the standard he has for himself. I love his transparency in a time when many leaders preach from behind the pulpit for fear of flaws being seen. He is not afraid to be in the ranks with the people. Keep on pressing Tonex, you are a blessing in my life!
Tonex, he is pure and honest about living righteous. He admits a lot of mistakes and acknowledges that God has forgiven him and that he is moving past those things that has happened in yesterday...He's a great soldier...Amen.

Genius. That's all I can say of Tonex, B. Slade, whoever he is today!! He's a musical genius. I'm sorry people choose to call what they don't understand as sacrilege. Tonex/B. Slade is the textbook example of unbridled creativity. No imposed boundaries!! I wish we all were so bold, confident and faith-full!!!
God gives the increase, so if his music has ministered to us, it is because He used a sinner to reveal Himself and His purpose. God tends to do that; Noah was a drunk who slept with his own daughters, Jonah was a racist who wanted God to wipe out an entire people because of his own predjudice, Jacob was a well known liar, Solomon was slut, David was a murderer, Peter was ill tempered, Paul was a killer of Christians. God still used them all with their problems. He used Tonex too, and still can.

As far as judgement goes,remember 1Corinthians:12-15.And John7:24,"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment"So if anyone says he is gay, let it a known fact.Now looking at the bio and it says he is compared to Prince??the bible says we are not to be conformed to the world.The church is gettin too worldly and the world is getting too churchy.But its all good,cuz the Lord is filtering out HIS church,and we will see who his true followers are, and who follow their desires

IDK if he is gay or not, but if he was, then we are not to look at his past iniquities cuz Hebrews 10:17-18 says, And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these no more offering for sin.". But if he still is gay or watever then he is certainly a hypocrite and a liar, cuz the bible says"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1John 2:4. My comment is for Mrs. Mckissick. A gay man or a straight man... we all have sinned, and fallen short. I was taught that sin is sin. We all need a redeemer. That is Jesus's job to judge. Not yours.
