Already well established internationally as a celebrated professional surfer, Timmy Curran embarked on a recording career as a singer/songwriter during the mid-2000s. Born on August 14, 1977, the Californian released the six-track EP Citsuca (2006) before making his full-length album debut with Word of Mouth (2007). In 2008 Curran was signed to the Los Angeles indie label Adeline Records, which re-released Word of Mouth. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi

Liking this album more and more everyday, nice dreamy songs... doesn't sound like Jack or Brett at all to me... I hear some Paul Simon like sounds, but he's just being himself...
I enjoyed this guy, sweet song and nice sound- as far as the 12 yr old girls, believe it or not they are not the center of the universe and (here's a clue hollywood) life does go on after adolescence!
I saw him on tour last year in Florida, on one song He play his guitar and surfed a wave in-- dude was that cooooool. Where are those brownies - I need another one.
Pandora does it again... this is the best place for "unknown" artists to get some air time. I applaud this site for all the music they've turned me on to that I'd probably never hear otherwise.
Timmy Curran’s debut album “Word Of Mouth” was released Sept 9th, 2007. Timmy recorded half the album at Studio At The Shore in Malibu, and the second half at a friend and producer Ian Nickus’s home in the Hollywood Hills. It was there that Timmy recorded vocals in a bedroom, drums in the garage, and all other instruments in the living room. Timmy had his friends Andy “The One Man Band” Smith, and Ryan “Lion” Gleason record with him on this album.
