Taddy Porter

Rock quartet Taddy Porter were formed in Stillwater, OK, in October 2007 by singer/guitarist Andy Brewer, guitarist Joe Selby, bassist Kevin Jones, and drummer Doug Jones. After building up a following around the Oklahoma City area, they were signed to Primary Wave Records for the release of their self-titled debut album on June 29, 2010. Prior to the release, they earned airplay for the single "Shake Me" and placed their music on such television shows as Monday Night Football, ESPN SportsCenter, and Cougartown. Their songs "King Louie" and "Mean B**ch" were featured on the season premiere of the TV series Entourage two days before the album's release. The day after the Taddy Porter CD appeared, the group launched its first national tour, running through early September. They then joined Slash's tour as opening act. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi

I manage a band out of Grand Rapids, Mi called Shadow Status... The guys shared the stage with Taddy Porter and Rev Theory in Holland, Mi at the 2011 Tulipalloza! ! ! The show kicked A$$!!! Saw Taddy P in Jersey, December 2010. This band is a step above the southern rock bands and you can tell these guys are in the business for all the right things.
Saw Taddy P. in Chippewa Falls WI, 11/6 at a very intimate venue. Evan's Blue & Rains couldn't hold a candle to Taddy P. Their awesome talent, tight presentation prevailed; these guys just plain rock in the best and classic sense. They are every approachable and likable good guys, we chatted for quite a while. There is so much good to say about the band's cohesiveness & music. To cut all that short; I'm an old rocker and these guys are for real - Spread the word.

Love the band, love their music; Hubby won tickets to see Saving Abel in NH, thought we were psyched for that but the shining star of the night was listening to and learning about these guys. They truly rock. It was my birthday so my hubby asked if they would sign the CD for me, they had no prob w/that. They are just down to earth, regular guys who love to perform, it shows. I'm such a Eminem fan, but since I've heard these guys, I've been commuting to work with them rather than him
these guys are killer. not only is the music soul jammin good. but the guys are down to earth and stage performance is outrageous. love 'em. love 'em.
Oh, and Pandera can be wrong sometimes, don't pay attention to the Similar Artist list: Taddy Porter is nothing like Pete Yorn. I hate Pete Yorn, in fact I call him Pete YAWN! ha!
These guys are one of my new fav artists. If you like Black Crowes, Rolling Stones or Aerosmith you will love these guys! And they are playing the big Cancer Sucks Concert Thanksgiving weekend!
