I heard this group in Anchorage Alaska for our Folk Festival. They are great. Attendees who chose to go to workshops were able to meet them, and they are very friendly, too.

The best bluegrass/oldtime band in colorado-hands down! By this album and you will catch yourself humming these tunes all day long. Great lyrics as well.
Check out "Honey Don't", a side project of Bill and his wife (plus others). really good as well.

One of the best "old time" bands around. They are based in small Western Colorado mountain town of Paonia and would be better known if they just toured more. Due to family obligations they seldom venture out of the region. They did venture to Nashville in 2007 where they were an official IBMA showcase band.
The band is centered around the great songwriting of Bill Powers, a drolly entertaining vocalist, banjo and mandolin player. Showtime is their fourth album of mostly original material.
