Lady is arguably one of their best from their pre-Shaw early efforts. They still play it live to huge approval. A strong and beautiful song that builds from the opening note.

He REALLY loves his lady! I wish a guy would sing this song to me with such gusto! :)
Not a huge Styx fan, but this is a great song! They have some other good ones, too, though, so I guess I would say I lie them. Just not one of my favorites as a whole.
This Song Also Appears on These Albums: Styx II (1973) I wish Pandora had a broader selection of music within bands. I'm not complaining too much; I own Styx II on vinyl. :D
Um...what the yuck? This song is really ancient compared with Styx's other big hits, and it really shows. The "Return to Paradise" live cut is so much better.
the 3rd greatest rock song of all time behind Layla and Paranoid
this may be the classic styx song----i love their style(ballad that gradually picks up pace and turns into a hard rocker at the end)---wrote the book on rock ballads and all others that follow suit fall short.
I remember there was an episode of the 70s show where EVERYONE secretly loved Styx, but refused to admit it. They all picked on Eric for camping out for tickets to a concert. LOL

My youngest daughter loves Styx. Thanks for keeping the faith Brit!
