From Wikipedia: Scott Weiland was inspired to write the lyrics after an incident in which a girl he was dating was raped by three high school football players after a party.
@ gwrestler:
It's an anti-rape song. Weiland is taking on the persona of a rapist, similar to the Slayer song "Sex, Murder, Art", only sacrificing the graphic impact for chilling realism (more of a run-of-the-mill scumbag rapist than psychopathic serial rapist).

I think its about how girls have the same desires as men whats on my mind is on urs
Shannon Curfman covered this song, and I discovered that the lyrics to her version were completely different than this one, so how come Pandora listed Dean, Robert, Eric, and Scott as the songwriters on her version when she changed the lyrics to feminize the song?
haha speaking of this CD man I feel sorry for mine it is so f**king scratched, sun bleached etc.. have wore it out playing it so much F**king love this album the best!!
tinydancer: yes, scott is def hot. love watching him live. sexy as hell!
and, this song kicks a**. the first time i saw VR, they started playing this song and i was like "wtf!? this is an STP song!" was f**kin sweet ... and last summer, i actually got to see STP play it live. f**kin sweetness! :)
when this song plays or I play it on the CD I just get into a party and dance mood, it has such a great upbeat beat and guitar to it and killer vocals... Great song to drive to, just listen to on a dreary or a sunny day!!
the only down side of this song is how short it is. I could have listend to if for a good 4 minutes or more!!!
