The art of his music is STill wonderful. Very sexy and hypnotic. You can feel every cord as it resonates throughout yor body. "Try to tell me this isn't true"
♥ruthie e.
He made you feel his music like no other. The passion he had was amazing. You know he is playing for the angels and they are loving it.

I picture Stevie and Jimi ... jamming this together! Two greats, way too brief a time on this earth. With their talent??

Stevie is the best and awsome in my world
Jimi would be proud of this version Stevie.
ALMOST got to see this genius in concert!! Clapton played the Birmingham show despite the loss - that loss was prevalent during the entire show...RIP Stevie!!!

Best Hendrix song ever played by someone other than Hendrix.
love him my favorite artist love pride and joy
Probably my Favorite song of all time right here. I remember when I first heard this. I had to stop what I was doing and just marinade in it. Unbelievable
WOW!!!
Blues coming out his fingers! Stevie, you are missed.. Top 5 all time.
cengle07
First time hearing this version. It's really good.
Greatest Rock & Blues song ever, but beware the "Little Wing" curse! Jimi-Dead, Stevie Ray-Dead, Duane Allman-Dead, other Derek & the Dominoes' alumni: Eric Clapton-inte n s e heroin addiction (and toddler son-dead), Carl Radle-dead, Jim Gordon-schiz o (killed his Mom with a hammer-insti t u t i o n a l i z e d for life). You gotta make a bargain with the devil to play it well! Look out Carlos!

Sweet!

Such a beautiful cover :'(
GOOD SH!T
First song I've ever heard by him. Excellent. Love the blues, and he's my new favorite blues guitarist. Too bad he's dead, like Jimi.

This is how you play guitar.

Stevie nails it on this one...
Saw him 4 times over the years, the last time in NYC at the Pier on the East River(1987). Gregg Allman opened for him. The rest of the Allman Brothers(Dic k e y Betts,Butch Trucks,Jaimo e ) showed up and played to a wildly enthusiastic crowd, who kept yelling for The Brothers even after Stevie Ray started playing his set.
Stevie always left me speechless after one of his shows, there was nobody like him...
lantzem
I like the SRV version of this song better than Hendrix's.
Amen...this is the best ever...chann e l e d each and every time...alway s a little different, but never 'wrong'. Only he could do it. Clapton even acknowledged this.
love ya Stevie....RI P
shawn, not probably, the best guitar instumental, with out a doubt!
