Left Oak Cliff in the Fast Lane South....Smoking the tires off a 65 Chevrolet. Losing you left a hole, where my heart used to be. Two Fingers Tequila, Three lines Cocaine, until we see you again...
AGREED! Makes me stop what I am doing, close my eyes and fall into it all!

I'm gonna stick my neck out here and say that Stevie's rendition of 'Tin Pan Alley' (of perhaps dozens since it first might have been played back in the '20's...) is THE best version I have ever heard -and I make it a point to search out versions of this all the time... SRV, you were awesome, son.

double trouble album is great, and any thing that Stevie played was great, THE 70'S WAS SOME GOOD YEARS FOR BLUE ROCK ACID MUSIC, THAT WHEN MUSIC WAS MUSIC. NOT THIS BULL CRAP THAT WE'RE HEARING TODAY.
Stevie is the reason I play guitar now. Saw him on tv when I was a young child on "Austin City Limits". My father attempted to change the channel and I Cried till he turned it back. No other has ever been like him.
