Gospel singer Steve Green began in the gospel industry during the mid-'70s, singing backup vocals and playing bass with Sandi Patti, White Heart and the Gaither Vocal Band. By the early '80s, he had gained a solo contract with Sparrow Records, and his self-titled debut album appeared in 1984. He averaged more than one album per year during the next dozen, with Spanish-language recordings (1987's Tienen Que Saber) and Christmas albums (1987's Joy to the World! and 1996's First Noel) in addition to his usual repertoire. Green has stayed on the Sparrow label for virtually every release, and also concentrates on videos and James Dobson's Focus on the Family as part of his musical ministry. Morning Light was released in 1999. Two years later, he and long-time friend/producer Phil Naish captured Green's personal reflection on Woven in Time. ~ John Bush, Rovi
Brother Steve is such a blessing. As a young and new christian, his songs built up my faith and soul. His music along w. his soothing voice compliments lovely and wish he had more albums coming out. Can't find his CD's anymore according to his ministry, but, now, Pandora has his music, praise the Lord. =0>
Since my teenage years I've listened to Steve Greens great voice and it amazes me how today he still sounds the same. I enjoy every moment of his songs as they lift my spirits in bad times letting me know that there's a God who understands all my situations. The lyrics of his songs just make me sing along and praise the Lord with heart and soul..
I was listening to Steve Green in the 70's and even today his voice is incredible. What's more incredible is that he's remained true to Christ in a world that is contantly pulling and tugging at you to join in with what the world is offering. Praise be to God for you and the wonderful gift of such a great singing voice.

In these troubled noisey times we need the soft touch of Steve's music
Ive been a avid follower for many years. The earlier albums are my all time favorites. His music ministers to me and reminds my of why I am a Christian. Great songs: " Find us Faithful," "Lamb of Glory," "Refiner's Fire," "Kings shall Bow," "People Need the Lord," and "The Symphony of Praise."
A friend intoduced me to him with the album The Faithful years ago,the song The River stayed with me. I have looked for the song but could not find it.Now I will be able to get a new copy-I wore out the first.

He really ushers you into the presence of God. Always makes me want to worship the Lord.
I've been listening to Steve Green since his Whiteheart days and still enjoy my Whiteheart vinyls as well as Green's early solo albums. It's great to know he's still serving the King through life and song!
I have never been to a live concert of Steve Green

is one of the best gospel soloist I have ever listened to.

I love Steve Green! I've been to two of his concerts, and met with him briefly both times . . he is such a wonderful man and truly a man of God. May his music continue . . .
Steve Green is absolutely amazing how he delivers his music, he ministers graciously. I was introduced to his great music by my younger brother 18 years ago and have had his music in my soul ever since. My brother and I sang "Household of Faith" at my son's wedding. Sending a Big Thank You from Victoria Gonzalez, Houston, Texas at Lakewood Church.
