There are lots of songs that have emotional lead vocal performances , and they aren't all classified as emo. Is that the only thing it takes to make a song emo? Besides, you wouldn't want your daughters dressing like prostitutes and your sons selling death to kids, now do you? That's what Aaron is talking about here. You just want him to be an insensitive lunkhead, don't you?

Emo? Dude...the basis of all music is emotion, its what makes the writers compose the music and lyrics that they do. Not all songs are emotional obviously, I have definitely heard my share of bullshit songs that are just meant for fun, however all artists compose at least SOMETHING from the heart.
