No doubt, Snot had a unique sound and energy unmatched by any band of its time and after Lynn's passing. I drank some beers and bowled a few sets with a Snot cover band in DC area last year. They had original material as well heavily influenced by Snot, it was refreshing to hear Snot still lives on. Hopefully more music will be influenced by Snot, but never replicated. They had unmatched flow/groove with non stop, in your face everything; vocals, drums, guitar, and bass. Snot, Alive forever!!
Love this cd! I remember the mansfield show clearly.... Lynn was arrested after streaking on stage durring a skit Limp Bizkit flushed the spice girls down a giant toilet. Their set was energetic and like no other at the time. The other time I saw them live was at Pearl Street in Western, Ma on John Fahnestock's birthday. They played with Machinehead that night and John celebrated by wearing just his bass on stage. Lynn is definatly missed.
F**k yeah, Get Some was a great record for sure. Got it back in high school and rocked out to it constantly. Love the little instrumental interludes on it.
The new singer is ok, but he cannot compare to the original singer. It's too bad what happened to Lynn, he is surely irreplaceable. I remember going out and buying their 1st album, Get Some, when I was 17 years old and loving it to pieces. Snot will live on 4-eva!!!!!!!!!

I want to hear some feedback on Snot today. I admired them when they stated they will not be going on with the band under and new singer and now I find they have gone and done that. What do you all think of that and what do you think of the new singer?
I hate Pandora more and more. I can clearly buy Get Some on iTunes (Which I have bought, The Box is my favorite among the tracks) and yet they only have the live songs of them. Oh well...they play tracks from Strait Up, but all the tracks fail in comparison to Absent, that is by far one of my favorite songs. Lynn was so talented...he will be missed. Snot for life, Strait forever.
Lynn, a true brother cut down in his prime. No where to go with Dobbs but up, Strait Up. Those of us that knew him personally feel the loss even these years passed. The legacy continues with the few bits of your soul you left us on vinyl Lynn. In no way does this totally reflect the depth and offstage presence we miss most. As for the rest of the band members... look into the awesome bands they contribute talent to since Snot. This is one awesomely talented group of fellas.
