Smash TV (Holger Zilske and Michael Schmidt) began their career recording under the alias Mindlab, releasing one popular tech-house single on the Salo imprint (where fellow tech-house artists SCSI-9 also got their start). With a switch over to Berlin's Bpitch Control, the duo released Electrified and a slew of singles that gained critical acclaim in the international press. Weary of the day-to-day operations of touring, producing, and other musical activities, Schmidt left the group in 2003, leaving Zilske to run the project as a solo act. Undeterred, Zilske delivered Bits for Breakfast for Bpitch, which featured tech-house vocalist Raz Ohara lending his voice to several songs on the album. Zilske continues to record almost exclusively for Bpitch Control, releasing the Air and Yellow Asteroids singles in mid-2006.~ Rob Theakston, Rovi
