they play every tuesday in a small, dank bar in Brooklyn. pretty rad live.
I saw these guys live at Solar Culture in Tucson, Arizona. They were amazing. The opening piece was a female vocalist and accordion that was beautiful and haunting. The rest was a full-out slavic soul dance party. Dozens of traditional dancers came out of the woodwork and danced in circles and lines throughout the whole show. The percussion and brass mix felt kind of high-school marching band reminiscent as well. See them live if you get a chance!!!!
It's bands like this as well as Rebirth and Young Blood that make it possible to sing to songs without lyrics. Squeedoo bop!
