Correct me if I'm wrong but this song sounds very similar to Harvest Dawn in Oblivion, I wonder if that's why it's called From Past to Present since it's a rendition of a song form an older game.

Whenever I hear this song, it brings me back to the days when my family had just recently gotten a flat screen television and a Xbox 360. (It was the Elite.). It was Christmas, and all I had in my mind was the joy of Christmas time. I had no worries, and when my brother, sister and I opened that big, perfectly wrapped present and saw the Xbox, and each of our video games. We were so happy. That was such a great day...
I loved that song cranked the volume up all the way and laid back!!!!
