bep, I think what they're getting at in this song is that people always passed judgement on his life and wouldn't stop even after he died. Besides that, we can't change people, they can only change themselves.

What a beautiful song!! I think it is so awesome that he could take the pain of losing his uncle and turn it into something so beautiful!! Brent is so talented. I LOVE SHINEDOWN!! They are so amazing and talented! The lyric "and now you will live forever" makes me almost cry everytime I hear it. His voice at that moment in this song is just so raw with emotion!
