Seether couldnt hold pearljams jock strap. NO ONE can do a Vedder sung song justice. So please don't try. This would sound better if he didn't try to sound like EV so much.

I can say they both do a good job,cant have one with out the other. I am just happy will still have rock&roll in this day,with all the crap out there! I love Seether they are a great band, they are awesome live! so stop being so pissed over the cover and just enjoy the fact that we can still Rock!!!!
Great version, but Pearl Jam's is better. He flubs the lyrics too, but that's okay, I forgive him.
I like the original version much better. This is probably my favorite Pearl Jam song, so I'm not that exited to hear a cover of it, especially since they didn't try anything new with the song, they just half-assed what was already golden. Lame.
I have to laugh at those saying that Pearl Jam sucks and Seether rules (which truth be told they are awesome) when Seether is doing an homage to Pearl Jam whom they obviously respect. It really shows an ignorance to make those statements as well as a half-hearted appreciation for music as an art. Oh well, we can't all be Rocket Surgeons... or something like that.
Its funny that it says that Shaun Morgan is the songwriter, Pearl Jams got a law suit.

1. how can you say eddie vedder is stuck up? pearl jam is one of the best bands in the world for their fans. Opinionated - yes, willing to stand up for a cause - yes, stuck up - not at all.
2. This Seether version is good, but let's get real - nothing can stand up to the Pearl Jam version. If you find a bootleg of Pearl Jam doing immortality, it is most likely even better than the CD version.
Eddie Vedder is the man..wish he wasn't so stuck up..great vocalist!

I love Pearl Jam... saw them live - they did this song, it was amazing!!! I do like this version, but I like Pearl Jam's a little better...edi t - I'm going to see Seether later this month (September 08) in a small venue. I kind of hope they do this, or some stuff that's similar just because I think it would be awesome to see in such an intimate setting.
