In November 2005, Scott Stapp returned to rock listeners once again with Great Divide, his debut solo effort after Creed's breakup a year earlier. The title track was also the lead single, and it reprised the anthemic post-grunge swagger of Stapp's old band. But in the run-up to its release, the singer had also been vocal about Great Divide's personal lyrics and stylistic detours. Pre-release promotion for the album included exclusive downloads through Wal-Mart's website, as well as a tie-in with NASCAR. ~ Johnny Loftus, Rovi
I grew up listening to creed,,each song brings back memory's,,great song writers,,,,,,, The impact that Scott and mark have is so unique,,,, very rare of a band nowadays,
Everyone sounds better out of a studio and sadly once so many make it to the top the drugs and the tour schedule hurts the body and voice. However, they made it back together and still come out a success. Hence Full Circle. If you don't like don't listen
This Album came out when God was pulling him out of the gutter. Scott Stapp recommited his life to the Lord and this album was to honor his change of heart.
the best lyricist out there right now. Many people dislike him because he is a "hypocrite". How many people do you know who go to a doctor when they are not sick. He knows his weaknesses and is not ashamed to admit them and to point people to his doctor. I admire his willingness to admit his flaws. Thank you Scott.
scott is such a terrible singer. he doesnt sound that bad when hes in a studio and can use 50 takes to complete a song. but every time i heard him live he cant sing for more than 5 seconds without losing his breath and sounding like total s**t. he did however, manage to stop being a tool after the failure of his solo career knocked his ego down to a normal level. and for that i give him credit. but unfortunately for him, that damage cant be undone. and without mark, hes a worthless songwriter.
I don't know how he is doing now-in-days (with his faith)...but all i gotta say is this: "Tank top, ya bald cap, think ya'll that lookin like Scott Stapp, ya just another red-neck from back in the woods, not a kountry gentleman that can bring the goods"-Kountry Gentleman-FF5

I admire Scott stapp. He's had some really hard times with his giant struggles, but he's still alive and most importantly, his faith in Jesus is stronger than before.
Scott Stapp is the shiznit!!! He's one of the few that's bred for good music producing. That's coming from someone who grew up listning to nothin but urban music. He helped birth me into this genre!!! Keep it up Pimpin Stapp!!! Holla Back!!!
He's had a rough time of it, but is a survivor. I'm the daughter of a pentecostal minister myself and can relate to his songs wholeheartedly. I was proposed to, and accepted my marriage proposal in 1999 at his Dallas, TX concert. What an awesome NIGHT!!!!! Creed made my day.
