Savoir Adore
A self-coined "fantasy rock" duo, Brooklyn's Savoir Adore were born of a rather odd recording session in 2007. After signing to the Cantora label -- home of the likeminded neo-psychedelic group MGMT -- Savoir Adore released their first album, The Scientific Findings of Dr. Rousseau, in 2008. Although the group recorded its unique work as a pair, the dual vocalists rounded out their sound in concert with a three-piece backup band. Savoir Adore were well received by the fickle New York music press, and drew favorable comparisons to such established names as Postal Service and Broken Social Scene. As the buzz continued to build, the band released a full-length debut, In the Wooded Forest, in 2009. They returned for their second record, Our Nature, in 2012. ~ Chris True, Rovi
Well, I personally like it! ^_^ It's a nice, calming sound, and I think the vocals are quite pleasant to the ear (At least the song I heard had a man and woman who's voices go well together)
