A singer/songwriter from the New York City area, Sarah Fimm's ethereal piano-based music first appeared in 2001 when her debut CD, Cocooned, was released. Building on the success derived from her work on MP3.com, Fimm managed to get a fair amount of college radio airplay. The next year, A Perfect Dream was released and garnered more attention due to her heavy internet promotions and more lush approach towards production. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
very nice. thanks for the introduction, Pandora, as I always say. I love a lot of the same in Imogen Heap as I love in this work, Nexus. Sarah Fimm has an amazing voice. More! (please)
Mercury happens to create Physical reactions from emotion. Hearing such passion in Sarah's voice about Mercury, makes me want to be an astronaut. This song takes me on a Space voyage and more...

First thought it was Sarah MacLachlan on "December". Whatever. Love this sound.

"White Birds" has Imogen Heap flavor all over it. Reminds me of "Little Bird" and "Tidal" especially...

Sarah Fimm, Sarah Slean, and of course MacLachlan and Brightman...Sarahs tend to be talented, it seems... :)
I love the play of her name 'Sarah Fimm' and 'Seraphim'. Admittedly, "Great Wide Open" does have some truly ethereal sounds.

The first time I heard of her was in 1995. I went to a Peter Murphy show and she was the opener. Her live performance was AMAZING.

I saw her perform in New York few months ago in a concert with Delirium (she was opening up). I was absolutely magical. I think I actually liked her better that Delirium night! She's amazing!
Yeah, there's only room for Tori and Bjork...? Awesomely ambient-ish, nicely produced, very New York City. Take a listen to Mimi Goese (of Hugo Largo fame) if you like this.

Ew... pop tried to be Tori and/or Bjork. Can we say failed?
