In case of system malfunction, try the Auto pilot button, or maybe control, alt, delete. Or maybe try to restart the system, though I think this song might be symbolic of our everyday workaholic patterns. Or whatever our habits have become.

Rush (Yes too) deserves 2b in the RNRHOF. Why these 2 bands are not in is beyond me.
Jet, you're kidding right? This was nowhere NEAR Rush's last good song.

Amazing song. Played this SO many times I mulched the cassette tape, and had to get a CD. I think all my neighbors knew it by heart too...because I "shared" my music with the whole neighborhood. "Everyone deserves to enjoy Rush" was my answer to my neighbor who would comment so nicely on my music choice and its incredible volume.
1001001001 in binary code translates to "we have just written our last good song".

"1001001001 SOS". Simply oozes nerdiness.

One android on the run, one of the nerdiest lyrics ever written...an d I love it.
I agree about Geddy's playing. He really did some amazing playing on all these 80s albums.

This song is one of Rush's best. The rhythm is a waltz. The lyrics are wild. I love the Bass work by Geddy especially. The synthesizers perfectly mate with the texture of the song. They really reached far-and succeeded, "plastic fists" and all.
