The show is weird.
You can also hear some southern and Heavy metal inflences here, if the song wasn't influential itself to many others.

Twilight zone possibly in the top 10 Rush songs ever considering the length & completeness of the song. Not overblown; still very progressive in style. I have entered..... . . . .
I absolutely love the weepy guitar tone in this one.
2112 is a fine album. This tune is one of the buried side two tracks. Its nice but I think kind of pales in comparison to the remainder of the record. For Rush at their best, anything from Hemispheres or Permanent Waves is definitely worth a listen. Even A Farewell to Kings is terrific. Creative, technically brilliant and yet not overly commericial.

Going to see Rush this Summer. Can't wait to hear the entire Moving Pictures Album during the concert! Most people don't write music with meaning anymore.
Sweet Tune! a little shorter to most it's Counterparts on the album, but nice, Rare to hear the solo @ the end & outro, short & sweet.
The subject of this song is pretty much what saves it.
Tributes so rarely come off, but this is a fitting homage to sources that left palpable marks on the trio's compositions . Think I'll watch a bit of Rod Serling tonight, on their recommendati o n .
Not bad stuff, but it pales in comparison to the first side of this album.

Are you kidding me? This song is one that opens the door to imagination. The Engineering, Geddy's whisper beneath the second chorus kicks a**. I grew up on the ORIGINAL "Twilight Zone" episodes and this song conveys the "Mind %UCK" that is reality! Lower the lights... Relax... Turn up the song... Breathe... Close your eyes... Open your mind... You'll see what I mean...
just about my least favourite Rush song. And I like Rush A LOT.
