I have had the privlege to grow up. With this amazing band three guys produced that sound.lite yrs ahead of there time .neil pert is by far one of the worlds greatiest drummers seen him in concert several times seen 2112:premnen g waves moving picturfes exit stage left presto love this music never gets old .

I've heard this song many times and have never heard this studio version. The live version is quite a bit better, so I understand why.

filthyswit: Please observe the simple rule of time. A Rush riff from 1977 can't sound like an Antrax riff from 1990. Only can an Anthrax riff from 1990 sound like something Rush did in 1977.
The guitar riff sounds a lot like the one from Anthrax's 'Cry for the Indians' song.
Perhaps at one time but I would doubt they do much of this these days. And I agree with Brian about David's comment. LSD anthems? Wow.

It's so funny when people try to say the band doesn't use drugs. Oh sure, Rush just wouldn't do something like that. They are upstanding family men. As if you can't be an upstanding family man and do drugs.

This song is kind of a throw-away song, more about fun than about insight into the drug state. You should check our their LSD anthems like the Fountain of Lamneth, The Spirit of Radio, Red Barchetta, or The Body Electric
