The biggest hit, and the only top ten for the Ronettes was ‘Be My Baby’ and was produced by the legendary Phil Spector with his signature Wall of Sound recording technique, where he layered instruments and used echo effects while recording in the studio.
The producer fell in love with lead singer Veronica’s voice, and her, and they were soon married, Veronica now known as ‘Ronnie’ Spector.
Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys loved this song, and answered the call with "Don't Worry Baby."

What a fantastic voice of Ronnie Barret. She was a young woman with the voice of an adolesent. A great "Wall of Sound" Phil Spector production. This is a classic example of the 60's harmony sound and instrumentat i o n . A classic song and production.
