Ron Kenoly began singing in a Baptist church in his hometown, Coffeyville, KS, and after spending time working in the Air Force and raising a family, he became a successful charting singer in the early '70s in Los Angeles, but recommitted his life to being a Christian in 1975. Kenoly then received his master's degree in music at the College of Alameda in California, and became a voice teacher. He began to lead praise & worship services at a local Pentecostal church, and caught the eye of Integrity Records, which signed Ron Kenoly to a contract. His first album, Jesus Is Alive, was followed by the fastest-selling praise & worship album ever, Lift Him Up. Both that album and the next, God Is Able, were nominated for Dove awards. Kenoly has also released Sing out with One Voice, and in 1995 passed the one-million mark in total sales. In 1996, he released Welcome Home, his major label debut; Majesty followed two years later, and in 1999 Kenoly returned with We Offer Praises. Dwell In the House appeared in spring 2001. ~ John Bush, Rovi

I'm 18 years old, and I can happily say that I've been listening to him my whole life. When my family and I would have our daily dance nights, we'd dance to Rons music along with donny McClurkin and Kurt Franklin. some of the best parties I've had :)

I came to the LORD in 1983 , In a small church On Bancroft Ave Oakland , Ca. ...Ron was the worship leader he had a tape that I listened to for approximately 5 months in which I shed more tears then ever before in my life ...The holding power of the music and the words/lyrics sustained me in my new journey with Christ Jesus , Just in case you read this Ron ...remember God can take you physically out of the Ghetto lol, you know you still have the Ghetto in you. Miss you & your family Lord Bless
My sister-in-law gave us Lift Him Up 19 years ago today as a wedding present, and believe me when I say that it was the biggest blessing we received! Thank God for his life and ministry. God used him to stoke the fire within my husband and me for worship, and we are praise and worship leaders now! Praise the Lord!

I grew up on your music... Every morning my mom would put on the Jesus is Alive CD (tape at that time) and that would wake me up... (besides her tickling me)... When I was old enough I went on a rampage to find every cd you were ever apart of (including Hosanna)... Your music inspired me soo much that I'm a singer as well... Keep ministering the Gospel... God bless...
I am a Nigerian lady who just gets ellated with people on fire for the Lord.I love the man of God Evangelist Ron Kenoly. You evangelize the world with your songs. My favorite though is Ancient of days. I love your boys too.Truly chips off the old bloke so to say.
I also like listening to man of God evangelist Alvin Slaughter. He roars and reminds me of my Dad.
