One of the many hidden gems in the Stones huge catalog.
One of the truly great Stones tunes - highly under-rated in its excellence.
There are Stones songs like this one and Parachute Woman, Memo From Turner, 2,000 Light Years From Home, Dead Flowers, that some people have never heard that stirred my cup in the seventies; they don't get old man.

Possibly my favorite Stones song, hard to pick just one though.
IM AN APE MAN IM AN APE APE MAN IM AN APE MAN. oh wait different song better song too. this ones ok, i like the opening piano the most after that the song dies a bit. and what the hell is with the sunny mellowing at the end. IM AN APE MAN!

Depending on my mood, when I hear this song I think of one of two things: its appearance in "Goodfellas, " or else the time during a work campout a co-worker started dancing around the campfire to this song playing on a beat-up little tape cassette boombox in the woods.
