"Light swing groove" refers to the fact that the drum rhythm uses swung eight-notes; in other words, the first note is dragged out or "swung" slightly, so it's longer than the second one. It's a little tricky to notice, but if you listen carefully during the verses you'll hear it.
It sounds kind of like duhhh-d-duhhh-d instead of normal eighth notes, which would be duh-duh-duh-duh. It's a little hard to describe by typing, but hopefully that helps.
