I pretty much agree with below comment. People make fun of God, get angry at Him, think of Him as a genie, and never really connect with him-unless they're in a horrible situation.
The song title is Laughing With. I think that means the main point of the song is made in that last line. People tend to only reach out to God when they are in a really terrible situation. But they should always reach out to Him, and be grateful to Him in good times. Do that, and you will find yourself laughing with Him when times are rough, for He will be there for you, as you were there all along, acknowledging Him.
I love God, follow his word, and am his friend. His name is Jehovah, and I talk to him all the time. I had no regrets or had Crap feeling: 1000 (guilt), because I search for his guidance constantly, not only when I want or need something. But for those who this song applies to, I bet you have a "crap feeling" of a million. Just how guilty do you feel?
this so just pretty much says how people joke about God, but when it all comes down to a moment of pain or weakness, we suddenly rely on him and we don't "laugh at Him" in those moments. I'm not religious, but this song really speaks about how selfish and self-centered humans really are.

I can't figure out if she is cursing God or just pointing out that He isn't someone who just magically gives you want you want when you ask. Who do you think?
This song is just amazing. It's so true. I mean the lyrics are cute and quirky, but at the same time present a deep meaning thats absolutely admirable I love this.
