We have our right to say what we wish, if it bothers you, go away and not complain about it. We have as much right as you, and if you can talk about atheism here freely we can discuss what we believe if we wish.
I ripped a attacking lions jaws open with my bare hands. I push those pillars down with love they came down upon me,but you never looked back. They wouldn't, let you ask my dieing light seen them usher you away. Delylah I LovedU2

@courtney043 6 : Me too. I'm just saying I like Jason. Oh,and LOL The Wonderbread!
My favorite song by Regina. Her voice is so pretty and this song is literally so beautiful yet sad i just CAAANT
She has a beautiful and stellar voice and I love this song so much <3
She's Jewish. Not atheist. This song is comparing Samson and her boyfriend who had cancer. Samson's hair got cut off and he lost all his strength. Her boyfriend got cancer and lost all his hair and strength. She's comparing the two. The bible reference is because of the comparison.
I really wish people would stop making comments about god. Your treating athiests like their foolish children. If we felt we didn't have anything to believe in, we wouldn't be freakin athiests!!!! So shut up and enjoy the freakin music!!!
Oh wow I never knew this was about someone having cancer...... .
neoboy2007
I am totally Regina Spektor's number 1 fan along with my sister
sky.booboo
I dedicated thus to my best friend
I always thought this song was about one of her friends having cancer and when she said "and the history books forgot about us and the bible never mentioned us" meant nobody ever really knew about his fight against cancer. Such a sad song once you think about it...
meghnasathee s h, Jason is not good, I promise I am the BIGGEST fan

falling from the ground, Wonderbread is bread that is more chemicals than bread. Its good for pizza sandwiches. It was also the food of choice for the destruction of Rome in The Mark of Athena (lol...)
gingerca6t
What the heck is wonderbread?

Great songwriting. . .

lila.shelley
Didn't she write this for her boyfriend after she cut his hair for his chemo treatment?
strangejade5
i like the other version better - it's slower and has less instruments, i think.
i thought this was about a guy with cancer
shes Jewish
Sony? I meant song
Beautiful voice for a beautiful girl. Love her Sony eet
so beautiful :)
Her voice is just so simple that it's pretty. There's nothing particularly unique about it, it's just so pretty. I like the Bible story reference! I don't care if she's atheist or not, that's a really great way to introduce simple Bible things to unbelievers! You know, if you've never heard the good news about Jesus, leave a comment on my profile. I can tell you. It's a beautiful story, and it's absolutely true!
zoom.spitfir e
She is singing about her boyfriend who died of cancer. RIP Samson
I LOVE her voice, and her songs are amazing! (Love Eet!)
From what I can remember, this song is about love. Not religion. The history books forgot about us and the bible didn't mention us is a reference to how people fall in love all the time.
Oh Regina, has such a beautiful voice. I love this song!!!!
