Just to give credit where it is due, the great (Ms) Bobbie Gentry wrote and had a hit with this song in 1970. Reba does a great job though, as always.

I love this song. This is mine and my sisters favorite song to each other.
Write you're a hundred and 10 % correct.... I've loved this song since I was in grade school and the rest like it, nothing can top music from then!
I was originally turned on to Reba by my sister when she was going through a pure country phase, although she was hesitant at first but knew my tastes had expanded. When we were younger I was mainly only into rock of the very late 60's-70's which we had both grown up on and much of it as live performances in the SF CA Bay Area...This sucker kicked my butt!
Fancy is one the best country songs ever. It is my favorite! Country music from the 90's was a whole other ball game...there f o r e it is my favorite time in country music.
