This man's music has keep me on track so many times in my life. None of these songs could have been written without the help of God. He is and will always be one of my favorites. I just rededicated my life to God and the first thing I wanted to hear was Ray Boltz and that when I found out he is gay. It really saddens me that some christians are acting like tyrants. God is always in control, let us all remember this. Ray, I still love you and your music....praise God for you!!

This mans music ministered to us in a difficult time and I know many others. Yes Homosexuality is a sin so is lying gossiping gultony But My God is bigger than all that. When Ray gets ahold of how much j Jesus loves him and all that was accomplished on the Cross for him he will be back I pray for Ray to grow in the knowledge of Christ and for him to be able to recieve his healing of the hurts that lead him down this road.

Don't let us forget Ray is still a child of God. we all fall short and God know's that better than us. Not one of us is clear and clean of sin. I was so deeply saddened to hear that my favorite Christian singer in the 90's has chosen to give in to the flesh. According to God's Word the Bible, sodomy will be condemned by a Holy God that alone has the authority to tell us what is right and wrong. I tuned into Pandora this morning and wanted some good praise music. Thinking about some older stuff that stirred my spirit, I thought of Ray. I wondered what happened to him. I am so sad to hear about his choices. I say we need to pray for him. I agree with those of you that feel we should not judge, BUT, God should come first. FIRST. I know this is a divisive issue and I am not saying that what Ray is doing is right or wrong. If anyone has ever had a friend or family member that is gay then you realize it suddenly becomes more real than just saying "That's wrong!" Let's just remember Jesus' grace extended to all of us and that none of us deserve it any more or less than Ray Boltz.

It is a shame Ray had to turn away from his first love. Don't get me wrong, I was a homosexual before I became a Christian, but I knew it was wrong, even before I became a Christian. He is living a lie, and trying to make it justifiable before God, which does not work. God called homosexuality an abomination, which means that Ray was NOT born that way, but has chosen to live in that lifestyle, which is NOT acceptable by God.

Did he forget where the power is? it isnt in his ability to chose not to commit that horrible ungodly act but the POWER is in God to "keep you from falling". But you have to want to be kept.

to sullivanturtle: Ray openly admitted to being gay. I have been blessed by Ray's music as well. However, God will not condone sin and we can not condone sin. I hope that he will repent. There is a difference in God's eyes with someone stuggling with homosexual desires and asking God to help them do the right thing than someone who divorces his wife so he can be apart of an immoral relationship with another man. God can and will forgive IF Ray repents and turns from his sinful ways.

We all were born into sin and have the sin nature to deal with our entire life. Thanks be to God that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to authorize each of us to become children of God by believing and receiving Jesus only for salvation. But if we are to become Christ-like, as a true Christian is supposed to become, and walk according to the Spirit, we will get the strength to overcome the sinful nature in our flesh.
