Randall Bramblett

Randall Bramblett is an accomplished singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist whose credits include work with Sea Level, Steve Winwood, Gregg Allman, and Robbie Robertson. Bramblett released his third solo album, See Through Me, in 1997, two decades after his previous solo release. During that 20-year period, Bramblett was a member of the Southern jazz fusion group Sea Level and a touring member of the reunited Traffic, as well as a busy studio musician. He was born in Jesup, Georgia, and heavily influenced by R&B music, gospel, blues, and folk. Bramblett plays keyboards, saxophones, guitar, mandolin, and harmonica. His songwriting is often moody and cinematic, as evidenced on albums for New West: 2001's No More Mr. Lucky, 2004's Thin Places, and 2006's Rich Someday. For 2008's Now It's Tomorrow, Bramblett wrote and arranged all the songs. It was the first time in the decade he'd worked without his friend and collaborator Davis Causey. He had written the songs piecemeal before entering the studio -- a first for him. Bramblett's "Useds to Rule the World" appeared as the opening track on Bonnie Raitt's Grammy-winning Slipstream; in 2012 (he also co-wrote "Down to You," with the artist and George Marinelli for that record). He also returned to recording that year. New West issued the all-original The Bright Spots in May of 2013. ~ Tim Griggs, Rovi

Saw him at the Levitt's Shell October 2013~
I am a fan forever more :)
I saw Randall the last few years in the Chicago area, I remembered seeing him with Sea Level and later touring as part of the Steve Winwood Band and was not disappointed . Truly a gifted musician if he's in your area definitely check him out.
Randall is without ? One of the outstanding , uncompromisi n g and accomplished singer/songw r i t e r s the south has ever produced. He is a genius in the true sense of the word - and truely humble , as well. I feel it to be an honor and a privilege to call him my friend

I have just been introduced to this musician and I will be 70 years old shortly. I love his music, his lyrics, everything about him that I know. And he lives in Athens, GA. I live in Atlanta. I am going to see him in September. I can't wait.
Hard to be a human....... . . . . . . . . . i d i o t s !
Seen Randall in other bands most of my life, but only discovered him as a solo artist 3 yrs ago. The definition of a musician's musician. Likely the reason for his solo career being so late in coming. His shows either solo or with band are the best value out there, he never disappoints. He his the only artist whose music I consistently buy or ever have in 50 yrs and give away to friends, that's how impressive his singing, songwriting, a n d playing skills are. Time to replenish my library!
Looking forward to seeing Randall in Oct.
