i love Everything radiohead does, i really do... but if they chose to let it lose more often and rock hard (e.g., this song, jigsaw puzzle) along with the more accessible beautiful stuff like (e.g. true love waits, the tourist) my opinion that they're the best ever would be more common... but who cares what i think, certainly not thom
I love when they play this live with Jonny and Ed playing the additional drums. Thom considers this to be Radiohead's best song but I think he is wrong- How to disappear completely is their masterpiece
why are all the lyrics for radiohead songs wrong?!? ahhhh its driving me bananas!

me too!!! i love this song. favorite radiohead song. anytime i hear it i feel like my eyes want to roll back into my skull. it's about as spiritual as i can get. chills and all.
This song has a slow but great build up to the end where Thom Yorke rewards you for your patience! The drums in build up don't have a resolution for it and the you hear the snare kick in and you think that they will go full force. His hauting voice adds to this lack of resolution.
Then at the end the snare signals the culimination of the marshaling of vocal and instrumental forces then the lead guitar takes control and the lot of unleashed.
