WILLIAM IS A RETIRED NAVAL ARCHITECT, IN THE BUSINESS 45 YEARS. HE ENJOYS LISTENING TO MUSIC OF THE '40'S AND '50'S.. HE IS NOW LIVING IN SUMMERVILLE, SC. HE HAS COMPLETED WRITING AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY WHICH WAS PUBLISHERED IN 2012. THE BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET. HE IS PRESENTLY WORKING ON SCENES WITH AND ACRYLIC PAINTS ON CANVAS.
ANOTHER GREAT PAST TIME WAS BALLROOM DANCING IN WHICH HE HAS RECEIVED A COUPLE OF AWARDS IN THAT FIELD. PRESENTLY HE IS RECOVERING FROM A DISABILITY WITH THE USE OF A CANE . HE IS QUITE OPTIMISTIC AND HOPES TO BE BACK ON HIS FEET IN A SHORT WHILE.
HIS OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS GOLFING, BOWLING AND BALLROOM DANCING ARE PRESENTLY AWAITING HIS RECOVERY!
