My tastes are extremely eclectic. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was exposed to a wide variety of music from an early age. The radio was on far more often than the television at home. Though my mother typically had it tuned to soft rock or pop, I enjoyed exploring the bandwidths to hear what else was playing. I developed an appreciation for it all: classical, hard metal, new age, blues, folk, dance, and more. I've been through phases where I would binge on one particular genre or sound, but I never lost a love for the full spectrum of music. However, I do have a favorite instrument: the human voice. Regardless of gender or style or language, I love to hear people sing. My own attempt to become a singer was peacefully laid to rest after taking vocal lessons for a couple years, but the experience only deepened my appreciation for all who can sing. Please, send new music my way, especially if it features an interesting voice.
