My life would be absolutely meaningless without music, which is why I hope to god that I never go deaf. I couldn't handle not being able to listen to music, I'd rather lose my sight so that I could continue to appreciate and love music, in all it's magnificent forms.
I love chillout, trance, ambient, hard house, happy hardcore, rock (in all it's forms, except for death metal and screamo). I rarely listen to country, although I suppose I could be considered a fan of Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Reba Mcintyre, and Randy Travis...and if Lady Antebellum is considered country, lol I like them too :D
I like alternative, emo, a lot of pop, although not anywhere near as much as I used to (god, I remember the days when I used to live and breath bloody Backstreet Boys...ugh to be young and under-developed again...NOT!)...I do enjoy classical music, I even played a clarinet and a bass clarinet in school, before trading off and joining the choir too...then I found a loop hole and was able to do both muwahaha *ahem*...Yeah...like I said, I love music, pretty much any type. I prefer music with meaningful lyrics, and ones that treat you like you have a brain, and are not a mindless money-spending machine who will just run out and buy the album you just heard on the radio...regardless of if you could understand it or not. At least check to see if the artist you like so much can ACTUALLY SING LIVE, and isn't all computer generated, edited bullshit. LOL Wow, rambled on long enough eh? Yeah...oh yeah...and life wouldn't be complete without your own personal soundtrack AND sound effects. Try it sometime, your whole day will be so much better for it :p
