Certain initiation 'rights of passage' qualify one who can appreciate the selection here. Life & culture breathes through expression. Having lived in Norway and growing up learning bits of other languages, like 3 yr.s German and 2yr.s French, I've always loved becoming familiar with the nuances of the various cultures embedded into their spoken word. This Techno~Culture has evolved into its own universal language with its own cultural rights of passage as can only be experienced 1st hand. Diving in, head first, with the standard underestimation of its depth and reality, Oakenfold himself pointed me out from his raised platform of turntables, the night of my initiation @ Club FREEDOM! ~A most appropriate name.~ The music of this genre gained NEW meaning, enormous depth, and piercing power. Its almost as if mere words alone discredit any attempt at conveying the true experience that can unfold right before you in the midst of the right environment, when properly immersed. Where pure strangers can simultaneously elevate to a new level of communication and understanding; riding the same sound wave in the matrix of that moment in time. Its not about "trying" nor "reading into it" so much either, but rather about just +Being+ Music is one of the methods that can partially transport us to different, inner or far off places, wither where we've been or completely new and other worldly. When this music is combined with the body's natural biochemical reactions, for example running for 30 minutes, one can make good use of the self generated endorphin rush! My selection here can even seem to calmly move me forward through any monotonous task that must be tackled at work. May all who are ready, enjoy!
