Listening to, writing, performing and recording music have been my passions for as long as I can remember. Everything else pretty much stems from that. Primary instruments include piano, percussion, guitar and the studio. Oh, and I like beer too...
Musical interests are all over the map, from Mozart to Megadeth. I can pretty much find the good in anything, as long as it's honest and not being created simply to make a gang of cash. Don't get me wrong, pop music has it's place (or it wouldn't be called "pop"), but I like to fly just a little under the radar for the people who are doing it because they HAVE to; because it's the only way for them to express what they need to say, whether you're paying attention or not.
For that reason too, the recording studio environment is one of my favorite places in the world. It grants the perfect opportunity to express both my creative and geeky technical sides. It's great helping other musicians bring their ideas to life, and I love capturing those ideas as vivdly as possible to tape so that they can be enjoyed forever. You can find me on either end of the microphone, or sometimes on both...
And one more thing. To all of those fake tough guys out there who think that they can intimidate or prove their point simply by dropping f-bombs and resorting to juvenile name-calling, grow a real pair and get over yourself already. The hilarious irony is that you come off as shallow, weak and spineless and don't even realize it, which amuses me to no end.
