I think I've been listening to you for almost as long as you've been broadcasting. When I first started listening to you I had a different e-mail address (email@example.com)one day I made the mistake of logging off and I had changed my e-mail address to what it is now(firstname.lastname@example.org)so I couldn't get back on and I lost a lot of saved material.I almost cried(LOL)...I'm a SERIOUS JAZZ LOVER straight ahead hard bop love it!!!You guy's have introduced me to a number of artist like Gary Shumlya,Pepper Adams, who is from Detroit where I grew up Billy Bang, just to name a few. I just sign up for the thirty six dollars a year for the non interuppted music program because I'm a writer and I can't be stopping to click on something every four or five songs in the middle of a story. It's worth it for me.I used to sing many moons ago when I lived in San Francisco.Nothing proffessional just jamming with a bunch of local muscians around town at that time. Mostly at piano bars in China Town and around. There was a couple of great pro's I had the pleasure of working with at that time who are now unfortunatly deceased...Flip Nueze a mean Filipino pianist and vocalist and another great pianist Martha Young. You guys probably never heard of them this was around 1969-1971.I don't remember when they died I had went back to Detroit in 71.I moved to Seattle twenty one years ago and never looked back.I love it here.Very Jazz friendly JAZZ ALLEY and the TRIPLE DOOR are two nice clubs...Ahmad Jamal and Miles Davis are my favorite muscians every one else falls under those two...As a writer I find jazz the perfect medium for me when writing...and like many writers if it were not for spell check we'd be up s**t's creak with no paddle(LOL)So that's me in a nut shell...and thank's for the music keep it coming.
