Sixteen years in Hawai'i, and 25 years separated from my Hawai'ian cultural and musical 'fix' I finally found Pandora One! Hawai'i is calling me like a siren to a fog-shrouded ship in the night! Auwe! No ho'i e! Love Keola Beamer, Ozzie Kotani, Led & Ed Ka'apana, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Cazimero Brothers, Gabby Pahinui, Bla & Cyril Pahinui, Peter Moon, etc. Varied musical tastes now. Love Bon Iver, Andrew Bird (thanks Liz), Ray LaMontagne, Herb Ernst, Ottmar Liebert, and any guitar virtuoso, especially ki ho'alu (slack key guitar) style! As a Reiki Master, and MBA student, I am especially fond of filling my background with 'white noise' that is compatible with my contemplative, meditative side, and I like the genre of ambient music that Pandora offers, especially the YOGA Radio and Yoga Workout channels! I always loved "Hearts of Space" Sundays on NPR, and recently gravitated toward Jonn Serrie, who is one of the most inspired and empathic composers on this planet!
