I grew up with grandparents mostly here in the NYC area, that were country music promoters, for the NY,NJ, Conn area. I liked pop music more,The beatles, and pop music of the 60's, 70's, 80's. When it came to what I liked in country was Ronnie Milsap, Mickey Gilley,Jerry Reed, Alabama, Dolly Parton. I now actually love the country music I hated back then. My grandfather Charlie, used to sing at country music shows and I played drums for him as back up, from 5 yrs old to 25 yrs old,(prodigy).Starting in 1979 I started to hear music from Gary numans cars, then Tears for fears, Go west, Journeys Faithfully has alway's been my favorite,then The 80's took its hold on me and I was hooked ever since. The 90's did not offer as much, and it was then end of an era for us. I am dedicated to my 80's music. I also adore Whitney Houstons Run to you, All I need, I have nothing, Phil Collins, Also was a disco lover. send me a comment anytime.
